She loses control when she nervous or afraid; you may notice that there is a song playing that implies she is going to "let it go" and no longer fear herself.
@Ewok612, hmm, yes, song sounds a bit familiar. We may have heard it once, twice, nay, maybe thrice times on the radio yeah?
@Ewok612, but based on that logic arandel wouldnt have been in an eternal winter
@Mystic Knight, That would be true, if she had to purposefully sustain her enchantments. However that would mean she is constantly thinking of keeping her tower up, keeping her dress doing its thing, commanding the ice monster, keeping the snow cloud above Olaf, and continuously animating Olaf himself, even though he was an accident that she didn't know existed.
@Ewok612, I guess it was on of those things they hoped people overlooked XD
@Mystic Knight, The implication was that she does not need to actively sustain them. That would be stupid.
@Ewok612, i'm not saying I wouldn't do her… I would just use a beer huggy as a condom.
@Mystic Knight, the castle and enchantments change when she gets upset or nervous if you notice. She doesn't have to sustain the thought but her emotions could still have an effect. (Seen this movie way too many times)
Am i the only one who wondered how her makeup was perfect through all of that
@TheCandyManVan, I watched her face the fourth time I watched it, just to see if her makeup would mess up
@TheCandyManVan, It's the power of maaaaaagic... And CGI. Probably a teensy little pinch of the CGI.
@TheCandyManVan, that's because it was...... Frozen........ No? I know, I suck at these things
@TheCandyManVan, Am I the only one who wonders why we're still asking these questions over a year after when the movie came out?
She can't control her powers when she feels she's afraid, or "trapped" in her life, once she's alone and finally is free she can control her powers because she's finally in control. GAWD WATCH THE MOVIE *basic girl hair flip
It's because, Like the troll leader told her in the beginning, fear was her enemy... She was raised being taught to fear her powers which gave her no control over them... When she was afraid of the citizens that came to her coronation she froze the whole country... But when she got to the mountain she decided there was no reason to be afraid this gave her the amazing control shown in the castle building sequence... Later on when she learns what she had done to Arendel she begins to fear her powers again... She loses control again and winds up hitting her sister... When she's crying over Anna's frozen body she's no longer afraid because she thinks she's lost everything she held dear... This lack of fear thaws Anna... Now Elsa is not afraid because she knows there is a way to reverse her powers and because everybody has accepted her
@Gay Ninja, only an act of true love can thaw a frozen heart.
She also no longer felt fear which was causing her powers to act up unlike when she was a child and only felt joy at her powers
Building an ice castle like Dr. Manhattan
She can't control them in the sense that she touches something boom snow ... But she's a bad @ss with her powers but I still hated the movie lol
Where did she learn fashion shut up in a single room for 12 years?
It's pics like these that make me think that children understand stuff better than adults...
Frozen had no actual plot devolopment, just events that kinda corresponded. Am i the only who thinks this? I really did not like the movie and cant see why its so popular
Only cause she hawt.
She was pressured and scared before but then she let it all go (Let it go!) and she realized she could do amazing things with her powers when she was happy and relaxed
I think they meant holding it in. She can use it pretty well.
The snow glows bright on the mountain tonight, please remain inside.
@Pubmarine Shamwich, remember just one wrong move and everyone will know
I CALL BULLSH1TE
Am I the only one who still hasn't watched Frozen?
@DeusVenatus, It's the movie about the skilift, no?
@Jdrawer, what? No it's that thing they find under the arctic science station that wipes out everybody but that guy and his crush.
@KMN, You mean Despicable Me?
@Jdrawer, yes the next sequel "Munching Minionsicles"
