Or, you know, you could just go to sleep while the updates install....
@MrJojo, but the screen stays on which makes sleep hard of you're too low a level.
@MrJojo, but the light makes it hard to sleep!
@Magnamon, you can close a laptop without it turning off and you can turn a monitor off without turning off the computer
@MrJojo, this picture shows how window helps you go "night night"
@TheReturnMan, sigh. If only my laptop would do that like it's supposed to. It just goes into sleep mode in the middle of the update if I try to do that.
@Magnamon, you change what it does in the power setting
Installing update number "fvck you" out of "you're never getting sleep"
I switched from Windows to Mac and I can honestly say that I do not miss this one bit.
@OriginalName022, same and I regret nothing!
That's happening right now to me at 1:40 in the morning!
@nothin here, And this is why we hate outside.
This is the reason why i set it to not automatically install updates
@Rias Gremory, don't know why it made this a reply... sorry
Get an i7 and an ssd it will make short work of those updates.
Only users are dumb enough to stay awake until the updates finish.
Whenever I see people complain like this I think of the pic where the update text says "hold on.. Making this sh1t even cooler"
That's why i never shut down my pc. It goes to sleep mode every 30 mins when untouched and i have auto updates set at a time i know I won't be home :)
