False, "Class is cancelled," are the most comforting words a student can hear.
@guppythewhite, on the day a huge project was due.
@guppythewhite, "dude, the teacher got murdered. A for the semester."
@guppythewhite, I think it means comforting in the fact that you are sitting through other students projects and telling others how fvcked you are
@guppythewhite, except that has never happened to me, I'm still in high school
@guppythewhite, False, "You passed" are the most comforting words a student can hear.
As a student, I can confirm
@Cyb3r, I did this today actually. Over a project, that is due Monday...
@Cyb3r, i can confirm this will still apply after you graduate and get a career
Nah, it's "open book test" or "no homework"
@Arcsbane, i vote for the first one. No homework is a nice gesture but after cramming for a test and then hearing is open book is like an obese guy going to average body mass in 1.31 seconds
Yo guys, I'm sitting next to this kid that's using ifunny while I was checking funny pics new update, let's just say that this kid isn't alive anymore
I only feel more despair from this knowing someone else is as disappointing as I am
I prefer "you didn't get ALL of them wrong"
Unless you're a girl talking about her period.
"We had homework?"
Or i havent finished either
On the other hand there is "wait, that was due today?!"
"Other classes had a hard time on the homework so the deadline is extended"
Literally just had this conversation before I opened funnypics
In written form its "Your funds for this semester have been received successfully."
In my opinion, no homework means you won't be prepared for the exams, no class means you are wasting your tuition, and open book means you won't commit anything to memory. However, there is something beyond magical about hearing the words "I haven't started either" or when you get back from break "I didn't do any work either". Phrases like those will forever hold my crying self through even the darkest of nights.
during finals week, I can confirm this is true.
As someone who graduated from college w a bachelors, I can confirm that this is true.
Unless it's during the class that the said homework is due.
@Taliu the Fox, Even then. Then you know you're not the only failure.
