And that's what you fvcking get.
@VaporStrike, *holds out hand for high five*
@Ryjaki, Don't worry bud, I won't leave you hanging *high fives*
@VaporStrike, it's tough for me to feel that way in these situations. I want to except it's the kids that suffer from a stupid decision they didn't make.
@Leprechaun Giant, Sadly, yeah, but if that's how we have to end this retarded movement, then those children are valiant soldiers fighting the good fight.
@VaporStrike, I had to alternatively vaccinate my son. We are testing him for Sensory Processing Disorder - basically small stimuli become big damn deals for him. When he got his first set of vaccinations it was awful--- 3 straight days of him not sleeping/eating/constant crying because he was in so much pain. He can't do oral vaccines because it caused bloating/gas. The fever he spiked was terrible and we couldn't give him ibuprofen or it would fight the vaccination. I couldn't take him to daycare until we COULD vax more. Sometimes it is necessary to not vax right away. I made sure we got the "big" ones like pertussis/whooping cough/measles and didn't bother with the hepatitis until later
@SchroedingerPussPuss, he got most vaccinations (except chickenpox and Guardisil). We just spaced them out until he could handle them better.
@SchroedingerPussPuss, Man, I do feel bad for you and your son, and by no means do I wish harm on anyone. What I'm saying is the vaccines=autism movement is moronic and if this is the way to help end it, then so be it, as long as the kids don't die, because that would be terrible. Your son's condition is sad indeed, but it's a special case that's in no way related to the anti-vaxx movement.
@Ryjaki, I left ya hanging my man :( *late high-fives*
@SchroedingerPussPuss, It's good that he was able to get all his vaccinations in though. It's rough for him now, but it could have been much rougher without them.
@VaporStrike, Sure, that's what she gets, but it sucks for the kids.
@VaporStrike, truth. I educated myself on alternate vaccinations because of his reactions. I have to do a lot of modifications, but he's super brilliant. He's a LOT of work but super cool. But yes- vaccines do NOT cause autism. I'd love to get into the numbers and the autism families who fight autism diagnoses, but that's like 3 pages worth of info... There are people who are pissed at previous mental retardation diagnoses being converted to autism and spiking the autism diagnoses rates.
@SchroedingerPussPuss, Yeah, and unfortunately that all adds up to a shjtty group of people that do nothing but make their kids suffer. For every Anti-Vaxx mom like the one in the pic, there's five more that continue to support the movement even after their kids get sick.
@VaporStrike, truth. Sickening. We had to be very careful and did what we could to keep him healthy. I hated being "that parent" but I had a legitimate reason. Alternate vaccination is still vaxxing, just at a slower course. Dr. Sears offers a delayed vax list and I highly recommend it if you have a child who has some sort of condition that many vaccines at once can compromise. He still got most of the vaccines, it just took a little longer and were spread out. He's 4 now and caught up.
"I was extremely stupid. I'm not even gonna sugarcoat it. I was just stupid."
@SimonPetrikov, She looks like she would eat anything sugar coated anyways
@NearlyNova, I wasn't gonna go there, but I'm not gonna fault you for going there
@SimonPetrikov, I regret nothing.
@NearlyNova, well, except that time I did that thing and some bad stuff happened, I regret that...but not this.
@SimonPetrikov, at least she realized her idiotic mistake
@SimonPetrikov, So you admit it was stupid of you to purchase a weird crown from some sketchy dock worker
@Miss Trottimus, I know you're right, but that still hurts
Someone had sex with that?
@Supah Fligh, at least 7 times?
Some people should not be allowed to have kids...
But she still stands firm on her anti-contraception platform despite having and neglecting SEVEN UNFORTUNATE CHILDREN.
@Mad Moxxi, some people do want that many kids. It's not that she just didn't believe in birth control. It's definitely possible that she didn't believe in it but I know a family with 7 kids, all of which were planned and they actually wanted to have 10.
@Prestidigitonium, I commend anyone who would take on that burden. My point here was that if you don't believe in something as fundamental as vaccination then perhaps parenting might not be your forte. And, yes, I made an assumption for the sake of my joke. My bad.
@Prestidigitonium, yay overpopulation
@Cpzombie, lol overpopulation is a joke
@That Bear over there, tell that to China and India.
@ Tobias Widower, lol euthanasia
@That Bear over there, do you think the youth in Asia would support euthanasia? In all seriousness they're going to have a population crash, and their environment isn't much better
@ Tobias Widower, tbh I don't know how all that is going to work out. And in all reality I can't make much of a difference so... I'm going to do my best to make decisions that won't hurt them but it's past the point of no return imo
@That Bear over there, the youth in Asia was just a pun. Personally I'm happy being in the western hemisphere.
@ Tobias Widower, Yea I got the pun and same. Can't imagine having to actually try for most things.
Okay, I have the iron, seem to have lost my E though. Had it coming either way.
@NearlyNova, I got one you can use
A quote from this article "Writing from quarantine, and surrounded by sick kids, Tara Hills wrote she is “emotionally, a bit raw. Mentally a bit taxed. Physically I’m fine,” before admitting that not only are her own kids sick, but they may have exposed her five-month-old niece who is too young to be fully vaccinated." Don't worry guys she's physically fine.
If you avoid vaccinations for fear of autism you're actually retarded. Do you want dead kids? Are you that stupid that you think your kid getting autism is worse than them dying? It's even been proven wrong and some dip shîts still believe it!
Seven kids? Why?
And this idiot is Canadian.
That's a woman?
Anyone else think she looks like Peter Griffin??
Who would of thought?!!
Do vaccines even help whooping cough? Like I'm all for pro vaccine but I don't know why she made the choice after this
@Finch, whooping cough is the common name, it's a viral infection so yes, vaccines do prevent it.
@ Tobias Widower, interesting, thanks!
@Finch, no problem. A big part of this anti Vax movement is how they just flat don't understand immunology. They'll quote failed vaccination (being vaccinated and still contracting) as proof they don't work, meanwhile that failure is safeguarded by the herd immunity. We're nothing but animals.
@ Tobias Widower, plus if a celebrity says it people fall in line. When my son was born a mom quoted someone famous saying that she didn't vaccinate so her daughter wasn't getting any shots after birth.
