Has anyone ever actually seen a bike? How do we know they actually exist ? You see the bike lanes. But do you actually see a bike.... Wait... Never mind I keep getting bicycles and Street legal lawn mowers confused.
@onetufftoaster, I see bicycles all the time, especially when I'm driving and the speed limit is 45mph.
@onetufftoaster, I ride bikes on trails, so they definitely exist.
@onetufftoaster, yes. On 51 turning into 21st street in tulsa. Also on boulder ave.
@Blackfrost273, Ugh, I hate when they ride to the right of the lane but just far enough to the left that you can't drive past them... so usually I just eventually fly past them blowing them off their bikes with my exhaust.
@onetufftoaster, I have no idea what you're talking about. I ride my lawn mower on the lawn mover lanes all the time
Season one episode one of the walking dead. There is a bike.
@Drsirmrguy, and then they were gone.
@Drsirmrguy, then all the car zombies ate all the bike zombies
There's not much else to eat for us bears
Well there's people, but those run
In the Netflix movie turbo kid that's all they ride around on and btw go check the movie out its really good
@Breakingbullet4, give me ways to convince my girlfriend to watch it because I can't get her to agree to it and therefore I've not seen it.
@HoorayFerSocks, theres a nice romance in it lol a great story for a sundance film festival movie and its a good gore movie for the guys
@Breakingbullet4, it's entertaining as hell. Like, it's bad in the way that all 80's movies are, but it's very enjoyable! Original plot.
There is a time and place for everything, ash
What about turbo kid?
Tires deflate, chains rust, they're slow, they offer little protection, they can't carry much
@Michael Fassbender, they carry as much as a walking person... They're also faster. And I'm sure WD40 isn't hard to find during the apocalypse.
@Michael Fassbender, in fact, The Zombie Survival Guide recommends bicycles.
@Michael Fassbender, they are also much quieter than a car.
World war z
@Abe Froman, Precisely
I mean one major reason these don't get used in post apocalyptic shows or movies is there is usually violence and death and cars tend to help protect from gun fire slightly more then a bike does.
Would you really want to ride a bike in the zombie apocalypse? At least cars have some protection. From wind and rain too.
@ArtistAtPlay, actually, bicycles are one of the best choices for a disaster scenario. Cars require fuel, can break down, get stuck, can't be used in certain terrains, and if you get surrounded, there's no way out. A bicycle requires no fuel, is easy to repair, can be taken off road, and can be dismounted and carried if a quick escape is needed (this applies more to folding bicycles). The other best bet is a horse, as they can graze for food, are pretty tough, can travel over almost any terrain, and are quite fast. The only drawback is that, of course, you have to be trained in care and handling of horses, so for most people, the bicycle is the better choice.
@ArtistAtPlay, Considering the other option usually is to walk, I don't see much loss. Though it would be funny is Walking Dead was a bicycle group.
@Praetor, someone else has read the zombie survival book I see
@Ahnald Schwarzanagga, despite all the pseudoscience, I actually quite enjoyed it.
@Praetor, zombie survival guide ftw
@Praetor, also cars are fairly loud
@Praetor, I loved the book. The Zombie Survival Guide was a good read. So was World War Z. The movie bothered me.
@Praetor, yeah but.. Hills
I love riding a bike. A d someone stole mine the other day.. Aahh the zombies
Just go raid the NICA head quarters
Except in the movie Turbo Kid
There are bikes all over the place in Turbo Kid...
Am i the only one that is confused by Ktm bicycle?
Not in The Stand
Probably because it doesn't have pedals.
In the comics Rick savagely stole a zombie's bike.
Not in world war z
You could've chosen a normal bicycle for the pic
I honestly have never seen that bike, didn't even know KTM made bicycles, I kind of want one without looking at the price.
@zacharyson, they are pretty nice. They make em in Austria.
