I think it's been awhile since we had an intellectual joke on here lol.
@The Last King, really speaks to the narrative.
@The Last King, agreed. been too long since a joke has been here. just comics, facebook posts, politics. some cool gifs and fail gifs every now and then but its been too long since an actual joke with a punchline has been here
I always say either
@Leprechaun Giant, I have been known to pronounce it either way
@Leprechaun Giant, what you did there
I saw it
@DarthPanserbjorn, if I say it in front of way like you did, it's i-ther. I'm not sure why that's the exception.
It's pronounced Fronk-en-steen!
Same thing, right?
@ElevatedTick774, either way
Ee-ther, i-ther, nee-ther, ni-ther.
Is it not pronounced "ay-ther"? Like "weight" or "eight"?
@Psycho the rapist, burn
@TheColossalTitan, the joke is he doesn't know wether he meant it is it can be pronounced either way, or if he was saying how it was supposed to be pronounced
Either one is fine by me
I say both ways, depending on the other words in the sentence.
Is it To-ma-toe or mater?
I say I-ther. It flows better and sounds much smarter.
@YankMyPank, Either way it doesnt matter
@YankMyPank, I say either/or depending on how it flows in the conversation.
@notMrWonka, Yeah, same with saying the and thee. Which pronunciation you use shouldn't be mutually exclusive, but contextual.
@CrispyVagrant, Actually, the correct pronunciation of "the" is use the (thuh) when the next word begins with a consonant and the (thee) when the next word begins with a vowel.
@ArtificialRain, Actually, pretttttty sure the rule states you use thee when trying to be dramatic, so.
