Hey guys. As you know I got cancer...
Everything is going good. Got 2 more months then I'm going home.
Energy comes and goes but still strong! My wife hands me my phone everyday after chemo and I open funny pics to have a laugh.
Thanks guys! Take care
@Funny McPixleface, You will be in my prayers and thoughts man. Get through this mess and come out the Victor over all of it. The funny picture community needs you as we all need each other. You're going to be alright, Funny McPixelface and you'll be on here everyday with us getting our laugh on as we usually do.
@Funny McPixleface, tip the scales on cancer my friend. Never give up and keep on laughing.
@The Last King, thanks man. Lost some weight like 15lbs so far...I always thought I would look better with less weight
@Funny McPixleface, Keep drinking whey protein shakes with an 8 hour breakdown. That way your body is constantly fed some slight protein throughout a period of the day. Take two scoops. That should help a little as far as weight wise!
@Funny McPixleface, we love you man, and we'll love you through it all
@Funny McPixleface, you'll be in our thoughts and prayers. Just keep fighting and remember you're tougher than the cancer
@Funny McPixleface, how does cancer taste?
@Funny McPixleface, glad to hear your keeping happy through it. I think I speak on behalf of the community when I say we say you're always welcome and we are glad to help in anyway.
@Funny McPixleface, you are in my prayers! I've had melanoma at 17 and this community helped me immensely as well, you will put through and come out strong!
@ Seductive Cheeto, depends on the food. Some taste like metal, bitter or nothing at all.
@Funny McPixleface, My dads beaten cancer and so can you :)
@TheSeasonIAm, dang sorry to hear that. How long did it take to beat it? Did ur food taste like...not food too?!
@Funny McPixleface, well I didn't have to go through chemo and radiation. Mine was the midway stage of skin cancer and hadn't spread throughout my body yet. I had to get a softball size area taken out of my shoulder and lymph nodes from under my arm so mine was just surgery. Over all a few months but nothing too serious. I've had a few different moles taken off that were precancerous since then but I'm holding out strong so far. Does chemo really change the taste of your food??
@TheSeasonIAm, ahh lucky you. Glad that it wasn't major.
Yes it does. But like on some foods. I had "pizza" yesterday and I couldn't taste anything...jello is bitter at times. Just depends on when I get chemo or radiated.
@Funny McPixleface, I'm terrible at making people better, but while it is good to hope it also important to remember what's possible at the end of this: just that, the end. So, just remember to spend as much time as you can with your family, and maybe finally be an asshole to people you hate (that's what I would do).
Again, I suck at being kind, I find it so much easier and more enjoyable to be a dıck. But hey, here's my attempt.
@Funny McPixleface, yeah I've been told. Having cancer sucks but having it at late stages sucks more, I'm just glad we found mine when we did otherwise I would've been screwed for a long time. And oooh thats really interesting, I've never been told that before. It could be killing your taste buds. If you don't mind me asking, what type of cancer do you have?
@TheSeasonIAm, stage 2 skin cancer. Doctors said that chemo sometimes numbs the taste buds but I should get them back once I'm done with it
@Farseer of Ulthwe, hahaha that's good enough for me
@Funny McPixleface, hmmm, mine was stage 2 level 4, right before it got to the lymph nodes in stage 3, I guess the different type of skin cancers travel through the body differently. And nice, I hope you get to enjoy thanksgiving and or Christmas meals to the best ability!!
@TheSeasonIAm, I will miss thanksgiving but the goal is to be done before Christmas but we will see
Mine spread to my lower back
@Funny McPixleface, sorry to hear that and also I hope so as well! And ooh gosh, is it effecting your spine and walking ability or is that not a problem? Sorry I'm just a very curious person when it comes to medical things
@TheSeasonIAm, my back hurts alot. That's how I found out I had cancer cause my back kept hurting all the time
I'm only 23 so I knew that wasn't normal. Surgery is on the 29th to see what they can do..Hopefully nothing will go wrong and I still get to run around with my daughters
@Funny McPixleface, I pray you make a full recovery! We found mine bc we thought I was bitten by a spider but it turned out to be a very discolored mole. I am 21, about to be 22, so I know what you mean. God has a plan for your suffering, remember that in the darkest times my friend!
@TheSeasonIAm, glad your better now! Enjoy the little things in life!
@Funny McPixleface, have you tried using Marijuana or Kratom to improve your quality of life, when my uncle passed away from Cancer he was very skinny due to not eating, the thought that such a menial drug might have given him a chance at at least a more gentle goodbye saddens me.
@ Seductive Cheeto, I'm sure I will get some medical once I'm discharged. Right now I'm getting local morphine
@Funny McPixleface, glad to hear, be sure to ask for it though because it increases your appetite immeasurably and allows food to taste much better, that's not taking into account how it has been scientifically proven to actually keep cancer cells from growing and metastisizing, also you need to avoid stress for a while so that could help.
@Funny McPixleface, focus more on the Kratom for pain though, using such strong narcotics can cause a whole world of problems.
@ Seductive Cheeto, thanks I appreciate the advice. I guess now I can put yolo420 everywhere hahaha
@Funny McPixleface, sorry to hear that man, you'll be in my thoughts and prayers
@Funny McPixleface, #420VapeNashun
@ Seductive Cheeto, #420folyfe #blazeup#otherweedstuff
@Funny McPixleface, #justweedthings much luck brother, cancer is a bitch and I'm glad to hear you're getting better. Be careful though, my uncle was first in revision before the cancer reappeared in his colon, get tested very regularly. A doctor that tells you it is unnecessary is either an idiot or caring more about your insurance than your health
@ Seductive Cheeto, got that military covering me shouldn't be a problem with the coverage...the training however...that's another story
@Funny McPixleface, I don't think you'll ever deploy again, or at least not for another couple years
@ Seductive Cheeto, just reupped so kinda curious on where that goes
@Funny McPixleface, stay strong 💪 you can beat this motherfvcker
@Funny McPixleface, Have you tried turning yourself off, then back on?
(No don't do it...)
@Mirikinador , hmm...but I have a mod will I lose it?
@Funny McPixleface, I am glad everything is going well. Hug your wife for being by your side. Prayers to you and yours.
@Funny McPixleface, what mod?
Where can I download the one for money?
Did you try barking at it?
If only they had called tech support the amount of frustration from that call would have been birth control itself
They were TOO nerdy parents apparently
@Charlemagne, I can't tell if your being sarcastic or you are dumb, my friend.
Wait wait, that kid does not look like he came from a ginger dude and a black woman
