Still I'm sorry but there is no logical way batman beats super man in a fair fight, no matter how much prep time he has
@generic zombie, I respect your opinion and your bravery to say it on the internet. Now please allow me to go far away from here, grab my popcorn, and watch this whole thing play out.
@generic zombie, kryptonite cage, Your argument is invalid.
@Poopscicle, Batman thinking: "don't think he'd let me lock him in voluntarily, looks like I need to trick him. A candy trail ought to do it !"
Superman: Bruce this has gone far enou-- ooh a piece of candy !
@generic zombie, that made me giggle aloud.
@generic zombie, the problem I always have with this whole Superman vs Batman thing is which Superman are we talking about? Because they range in power quite drastically, with Superman prime one million pretty much a god. But I agree that pretty much every Superman would wipe the floor with Batman if all morals were off and it was to the death.
@DistractedDingo, he said fair fight, poisoning Clark isn't fair
@generic zombie, Well Batman does have a contingency plan to kill every single superhero he knows, even himself if he turns bad. He is way smarter than to ever turn his back on Superman at any time, and is probably always ready to act on it. But maybe I'm just bias because Batman is BA.
@Charmander Shepherd, oh, ok...
@Poopscicle, this would actually work is you liquified kryptonite, had it in a pressurized tank, and had pipes go to the area where Batman was prepared to meet Superman, probably underground. Batman presses a button, the pressured liquid jets through the pipes, and BAM, you have a cage of liquified kryptonite surrounding Superman, making him constantly week and nothing to do. Throw in a sprinkler system for extra safety and for faster results and your good to go. As long as he, for whatever reason, doesnt say his mothers name, which happens to be Batman's mothers name, everyrhing should be fine.
@generic zombie, In terms of power it's a clash of wits VS strength. Yea Supes has nigh infinite possible power but Batman's intelligence and overall cunning knock Kal-El's smarts out of the park. Hell, Batman has a plan to kill every hero he knows in case they go bad, including Superman and himself. And well...Kryptonite has a tendency to -really- shjt on Superman very quickly.
@The Silhouette, do people not realize only half of the comic book Superman arcs have him actually weak to kryptonite? In most of them it is litteraly the only thing that can cut his skin. But more importantly, if Batman just had any red kryptonite he could steal Superman's powers momentarily and win that way.
@stigmaoftherose, if I had the money, I'd read all of the comics I found interesting. But that is good to know for the future :)
@generic zombie, except he did. More than once
@TheRatMan, in one comic I read he gets all of the justice league killed when one villain gets their hands on said info. Batman is left to witness all their deaths. it's a really good comic. I can't remember the name tho... :/
"Clark's essentially a good person"
*remembers that he snapped general Zod's neck*
"...when he wants to be"
@Martian Manhunter , but he didn't want to kill Zod, and was upset when he had to.
@Burt Reynolds, it was a choice let him live and kill a family and destroy the city or put him down
@Martian Manhunter , well there was that one comic where he spent an entire day looking for a missing suicidal teen and then talked her out of jumping off a building when he found her. Superman may not be the most interesting hero, but he's a great guy.
@Martian Manhunter , superman as a hero is just a good guy trying to do the right thing, which means sometimes he's not sure what the right thing is and does things that are questionable even to himself.
@King Cock, which one is that? I've been looking for that one
@Martian Manhunter , depends which universe and time range we are looking at 😨. We see in one of them just how vicious he really can be!
@Thatbright, sorry man I really don't remember it. It's been years since I've seen it, but I do remember it's really touching.
@TheSeasonIAm, *cough* red son *cough*
@gaemboi, you really need to get that checked out
@Martian Manhunter , it's like this, superman is like a regular person, he has all the insecurities of a small town boy who grew up in a corn field and he struggles with questions of morality when he's obviously using his god like power to destroy people's homes, lives, and eventually the villain (who is also a sentient being, evil or not)
@Thatbright, all star superman
@gaemboi, even then though he is trying to do the right thing, he just is more authoritarian.
I believe Kyle Hill said this in a video about how Superman could easily kill Batman.
@Snoogins, it's a direct quote from Hush, one of the newer batman comic series. In it, poison ivy uses her mind control to make superman fight batman, this is batman's inner thoughts while he's fighting superman
@TheWafflingDead, pretty sure this is from dark knight returns....
@opwnus prime, hop on Google and just type in batman deep down I'm not, it'll give you the panel where he says this while punching superman in the face
@opwnus prime, I own it and it does in fact say it in Hush.... amazing comic as well
Justice lord super man
