Well, personally, I think that whereas Trump might be a controversial president, most people will just assume I was about to post a political opinion.
@SimonPetrikov, this comment is a gem and I wish more people could see it
@SimonPetrikov, nice name nerd
@LimonPetrikov, Nice insult you insipid chameleon
Now we wait for Michael Fassbender to make things interesting
@TriangleTesticles, oh my god I'm not the only one that noticed
@TriangleTesticles, how to trigger Fassbender 101
@TriangleTesticles, *grabs emergency popcorn*
@MickelPickel, ...I don't know what just happened... I types if I could have some popcorn and the app was like "pffft were not gonna let you even ask!" and made my comment blank...
@TriangleTesticles, I'll try: Obama triex to take our guns, the republicans wouldn't let them! And Trump wants to fix those programs, not get rid of them
@TriangleTesticles, speaking of which I'm gonna watch the movie right now
@TriangleTesticles, surprised he isn't already flipping shjt on you
@TriangleTesticles, I mentioned it a few days ago his account is gone.
@TriangleTesticles, you have to go into a dark bathroom and say his name into the mirror three times.
@MrPuffNStuff, How do you know his account is gone
@TriangleTesticles, He doesn't come up in search and if you go to a picture he's commented on and click him it says he doesn't exist.
@MrPuffNStuff, Interesting, maybe he got banned
@TriangleTesticles, I was wondering that myself.
@TriangleTesticles, I found comments of his on 252707
But funnyism does say user does not exist. I changed my name to him and back. Anyone could take the name.
@Fappy Pics, I'm guessing he's gone.
@Hamilton Porter, The best way to trigger him would probably be saying Frats are stupid, but not as stupid as Republicans.
@TriangleTesticles, Guys, I tried clicking on his profile from when he replied to my comment a few days ago and it said the user did not exist. How ironic is it that when we almost want him to reply, and he's gone?
@MrPuffNStuff, Huh. Maybe I should read your comments first because I sent that way after you. Whoops.
@The Silver Queen, Hah it's all good. I noticed he was gone nearly a week ago I believe.
@MrPuffNStuff, why'd he leave?
@The Puppet Man, No idea.
@Hamilton Porter, I tend to do a good of that
@TriangleTesticles, Hahaha!! For real.
@The Puppet Man, probably thought we were too immature for him to even deign to grace us with his presence any longer. That or stuckpixel finally had enough of his not so low key racism and banned him
Not too worried here. Currently a youngin' who has taken it upon himself to put away a decent amount into a retirement fund, so I don't need to rely on government programs to survive later in life.
@The American Man, PROUD OF YOU, LIVING THE AMERICAN DREAM
@The American Man, how everyone should have and should live.
Boooooo! Obama wanted to move in on tougher gun regulations. He knew even some democrats wouldn't go for it.
It's such a shame that this election has resulted in such a large political rift; each side demonized the other so much that nothing really productive comes from political conversation anymore. It's just exhausting to see the arguments spill over everywhere.
@MickelPickel, *this election? Lol the rift has been growing for a long time. And yet it's still better than it was during segregation.
@MickelPickel, when has anything productive come from political conversation? Because it sure hasn't happened in my lifetime
@MickelPickel, Yeah..that was the bad part about this election, arguments, not the growing popularity of Nazi ideals, disagreements.
@MickelPickel, 1: that's every election mate! 2: America has always been divided.
@smartstu, it really only started in the early 90s, before that there were plenty of relationships between the two main parties.
If you live in California, you realize they did try to come after your guns...
I live in CA. Democrats are absolutely 100% taking all gun rights away. 1 at a time. And my medical care is 300% more expensive than before ACA.
@big freedom, the gun thing in CA is mostly a state issue though. i was talking to another californian on this app who was talking about how the liberal southern californians in the cities were voting for stronger gun restrictions which many people in northern california did not want.
@Ruupasya, agreed. But this state is completely controlled by a single party - the democrats. Having opposing voices and opinions is so extremely important.
@big freedom, as a fellow Californian, you are absolutely correct.
@Ruupasya, Yup, it's still true. The democrats have a super majority in the state senate and can pass about anything they want. Not to mention the 9th circuit court is complete garbage when it comes to determining constitutionality of laws.
@big freedom, so it's california state democrats who are "taking all gun rights away" for you, not federal ones.
@Ruupasya, where do you think federal law makers come from? Spontaneous generation?
@big freedom, from all 50 states, including both liberal and conservative states, not just from California. you're complaining about California gun laws. the image is talking about federal gun laws. those are not the same thing.
@Ruupasya, ok. So it all happens in 1 giant federal gun grab? Not stripped away with law after law?
@big freedom, laws made in california do not change the law in other states.
@Ruupasya, oh my god, it's like explaining physics to my 8 year old.
Of course laws in one state affect other states. Do you think that every single law in all states are invented from scratch?
No dumb dumb. We call them laboratories of democracy for a reason. When one state likes what another state does, they can adopt those laws.
Similarly, the federal government has the ability to strip your rights away and sell them back to you in the form of permits.
Now federal law has gone a long way to take away individual freedoms and liberty. Thankfully there are enough opposing voices to slow this process down.
@big freedom, "it's like explaining physics to my 8 year old". well, i feel the same way talking to you. clearly we are not going to come to any sort of agreement.
@Ruupasya, that's correct. You're entitled to your (incorrect) opinion. And I'm entitled to my (correct) opinion. ;-)
@big freedom, an opinion can never be correct or incorrect. an opinion is not a fact. your 8 year old should be able to teach you that, they teach facts vs. opinions in third grade.
@Ruupasya, and they teach subtlety and sarcasm 101 in college. You will get there someday.
@big freedom, i have a master's degree and teach 8 year olds. think i've got it down.
@Ruupasya, obviously not or you woulda picked up on the ()'a and ;-).
But you know what they say, those who can - do. Those who can't, teach.
@big freedom, shots fired!! Oh wait, you're in CA and can't have guns... Umm, let's try: feelings got hurt!!
@Fellacio Jones, Legal Bowie knives thrusted!
@big freedom, it requires a much higher understanding of subject matter to be able to then teach it to others than it does for one to simply go out and use said knowledge. The people who invented that quote were the people who found themselves ashamed that they were unable to grasp the higher concepts being introduced by teachers to new students and graduates that were eclipsing their skills so they invented that to try to restore some semblance of their arrogant self esteem.
@mas2de, Legal sub 2" automatic knives and balisongs thrust!
@Commandshark, yup. Jugulars and femoral arteries are less than 2" deep. Though admittedly harder to hit.
@mas2de, Everyone knows you can't do anything with such a small blade. Ask the 9/11 plane hijackers with box cutters.
Lol Trump isn't even in office yet and people have already been claiming him for everything bad that's happened since November
@King Cock, considering he has been trying to take credit for everything good that has happened since November, shouldn't the opposite be true. :)
@iOS10, further back than that, the jobs he announced he saved were publicly announced in July and October...
*Insert political comment*
I don't care about politics
@JJD2016, politics care about you though.
Hahahaha never came after our guns what world are you living in
Oh yeah, lets portray Donald trump as a horrible person for decommissioning the cancer of our economical situation in America. And I'm sure he will just leave everybody with no health care. Get a job and stop using government benefits if you are scared of what trump will do. If you are not a veteran of the United States military and you are begging for handouts I will rarely feel pity for you because it is only your choices that put you in that spot. I'm ready for the downvotes but I felt like I needed to voice my opinion.
@GreenF7, I rarely completely agree with people on the internet but I completely agree with you. Handouts will only cause more problems. People have to work for what they need and want
@GreenF7, the problem is a job or two does not pay enough money for people to meet their basic needs. Not everyone can just get a job and live happily.
@GreenF7, "Get a job" in an already saturated job market doesnt work, older people need to be able to retire and be taken care of for the younger generation to be able to find jobs. Not to mention that most are too old to work.
@Pharaoh, Let's not forget students that are going thousands of dollars in debt to the government (that the government will charge them to pay back) in order to get a piece of paper to wipe their tears away at night after a long day of saying "Welcome to Walmart" and "Would you like fries with that?"
@GreenF7, unless you got a well paying job you're going to be working day in and out and even that won't be enough for just the things you need let alone want. Some one has to do the grunt work, someone has to be the janitor and the teacher and the cook. Those people shouldn't get fücked over just because their pay is less. Either fix jobs and payment or have government help them. You're going to find way more people with 2 jobs or more asking for government help, not these hippy lazy fücks that you think are the one asking for handouts with no jobs. Asking for help doesn't mean you aren't doing shït with your life.
@GreenF7, social security isn't a hand out. You pay into it your entire professional life. The reason it's a problem now is because the government has been borrowing from it for years and has never paid it back.
@iOS10, finally someone makes sense
@iOS10, ideally a libertarian system in which taxes were reduced would provide a market in which social security is redundant, no taxes = a lot more money. However, people are too lazy or too stupid to put their money into a fund and save instead of looking to the future.
@Pious Augustus, remove the regulations, allow businesses to grow and there will be more jobs than people to fill them.
@iOS10, while thats a problem, its not the main problem, at least long term. Too few workers are paying into the SS system compared with the number of retirees and how long they live. Maybe they did pay into the system, but thats not gonna matter if there isnt any money to pay.
@HiroAntagonist, students have always been going in debt since the beginning college was created. College is an investment to get the job you want
@Osama bin Dead, Absolutely. Only now the debt piles and piles, the government continues to raise interest rates and garnish your income if you don't pay, and the odds of getting a job in the field you go to school for are lower than ever. When my mother studied to become a nurse 15 years ago, she went to school for two years and then got hired on. When they asked at the hospital for my sister, the requirements had changed to at least a four year degree she couldn't get at the local college. That's definitely not the same level of hardship.
@ear potato, no taxes mean that all public services; police, fire, roads, education; all of it goes away. You can try and privatize it but a public school where every teacher is picked by the lowest pay is a terrifying prospect to me
@GreenF7, You mean government handouts like tax breaks letting billionaires pay nothing in taxes? That's what's hurting us, not the marginalized amounts of money for poor income families needed so they can feed their kids...
@big freedom, What regulations would you like to remove? (And I mean this in a non-argumentative way). I just think that sometimes people forget why the regulations exist in the first place...
@Blaylock1978, that's the probalem. People see regulations, and think "well they must exist for a reason"
there are thousands of nanny-state regulations that prevent many businesses from ever even becoming a business. For instance, a local goat farm can teach people how to make goat milk. But the students are legally not allowed to drink the milk at school, for safety purposes.
Also, if you want to open a moving business in some states, you are required to get permission from similar businesses. They have to agree that there is a need for a new company!!
Guess how many times they allow more competition.
Most laws that are intended to "keep us safe" are extremely bad for businesses. If you need a law to protect you from your own decisions...
@big freedom, Good point. But we can't forget that some are reactive due to problems. And a side note... isn't it nice to have a quick political discussion without the insults? Refreshing!
@Blaylock1978, I absolutely love talking politics with people who actually think, rather than jump to ad hominem attacks or play team politics. Thank you!!
@Blaylock1978, also, most are (over)reactive to little problems. Usually the symptom is worse than the disease though.
People should be left to decide for themselves (as long as they're callable) what is safe or not. As long as your decisions don't harm me, do as you please!
@big freedom, businesses would just grow overseas without regulation and American jobs would cease to be
@Godzillary Clinton, the free market can dictate whether that's a good thing or not. You as a consumer can decide where to spend your hard earned $$. The government shouldn't be in the business of deciding who wins and loses.
I mean he didnt take our guns because we arent dumb enough to give them to him. Also he was honestly one of the worst presidenta in history. Our economy is shot to crap. How can someone create a system (obamacare) and have immediately go bankrupt and drain our money before it even begins.
@tmo0792, he had a bit of a handicap to start, considering W's term.
@tmo0792, economies pretty good right now compared to '08
@Raped by a lesbian, what are you smoking dude it is not. Prices are uber inflated on everything. Our dollar is worth less than its ever been. Obamacare went bankrupt before it even started. Ill show you my tax returns and show you how much less i make now. Ill show you how terrible the stock market and housing market is as a stockholder. Youve been brainwashed bud
@tmo0792, our dollars pretty strong. Currently trading the highest it has against Canada in a decade at about $1 to every $1.25 Canadian. The economy isn't about individuals, you could be making less but as a whole it can be stronger. Also please do show me how terrible the stock and housing market is and please give sources because I think your talking out your a$$.
@tmo0792, the stock market has at least doubled since Obama got in office. And the housing market has almost completely rebounded since the bubble burst during W's presidency. The dollar is stronger than it has been in 8+ years.
Aaaaaand you made it political. Congratulations.
Why not try living without guns .. just saying
Waiter!! There is politics in my funny pictures! Please fix this!
Bernie or bust
@Aegislash, COME ON GUYS BERNIE SANDERS CAN STILL WIN
@Providence , nope it's bust now
Gotta love dishonest political pics in my funnies...
Never came after guns? Lolol
Taxation is theft!!!
@All Mighty Donut, No, it isn't...
What are you talking about they came after guns constantly. Oboma tried to pass dozens of bills that regulated guns they got shot down by the house and the senate. Everytime any gunman went on a killingspree he tried to make it about gun controle when clearly the issue was not the gun.
When you realize that almost the only thing Democrats do is take away guns.
Medicare won't be around long enough for me to use it anyway as it's not a feasible system with the baby boomer generation. Why should I care if others can't use it?
Not true. And also I think I heard Donald Trump say he wanted to keep social security but what do I know.
Uh oh. This is gonna get messy..
This will surely spur all out war in the comments
