As a user of the metric system these numbers make no sense to me.
Basically 70ish degrees is room temperature. Anything above 80 starts to get warm and uncomfortable inside and anything below 60 is too fvcking cold and I wish the cold would JUST FVCKING DIE!!!!...Sorry...Arizonan here and we hate the cold.
@1967 Spiderman, seriously. Fahrenheit is so uselessly complicated.
@Slayer9200, lol, that's cute. Wisconsinite here, 40 is considered warm. 30, maybe start bundling up. And it's not real winter until it gets below 0.
You know, we have a name for people like you.... Physcopaths.
@Big Bad Butterfree, I live in North Carolina, we're just south enough to be above 100 in the summer and just north enough to still get snow in the winter. That being said, our weather is moody AF. It'll be 20 one day and 70 the next, not even exaggerating
@Slayer9200, Wyoming-ite, here it is currently 12° and I am loving it, because at least it is not -20.
@1967 Spiderman, I am a European living in Arizona, it was difficult to adapt to this. I just memorize a few key values to get by: 50F is 5C, 60 is 16C, etc.. at least, when I hear the news, I know when to use a jacket.
@Big Bad Butterfree, I hear ya brother. Neighbor here and I can say anything above 0 is t-shirt weather.
@1967 Spiderman, the lower the number... The colder.
@Smurf309fs, also 32F is 0C
@I Are Lebo, yeah and now it's all I understand for temperature :/
@I Are Lebo, oh you silly Celsius type
@1967 Spiderman, Yeah, what is Friday when converted to metric?
@1967 Spiderman, as an American, America is stupid
@1967 Spiderman, as an American I learned the metric system well playing British made games that involved a lot of calculations.
So 0C is equal to 32F, and each degree Fahrenheit is equal to 1.8 a degree of Celsius. So when it's 20C by metric, it's 66F because where yours starts a freezing (0C) ours still has the 32 degrees for freezing.
@1967 Spiderman, divide by 2.2
@Langenator, it is, but I live in Arizona, we'll never get there!
@Let go of my eggo, Michigander here, you don't know winter untill you have a giant lake next to your city that makes the snow 10 times worst.
@1967 Spiderman, sorry, its 288.15°K .... Hope that clears it up
@MeddlingKid, i witnessed that. I drove my friend up from Florida to N. Carolina to move. That day/night was apparently 30 degrees, the next day when i left was a breezy 70ish.
@Slayer9200, Vegas local and I absolutely love the cold.
@Slayer9200, 60 for me is t-shirt weather, only below 30 is too cold
@TotalBull, I'm from Ontario. I know winter.
@Big Bad Butterfree, 40 is warm? that's cute. Fellow Minnesotan here aka your neighbor. 15 degrees here is considered barbecue weather here. It snows in the Spring sometimes here.
As someone who lives in Texas, this happens on a weekly basis
@YouThisReadWrong, Yep. Where I'm at, it went from hot, to really cold, to now having a thunderstorm at this moment. In three days.
Even if you live somewhere outside the US where you wouldn't be exposed to the Fahrenheit system you can see that Friday is lower than the rest so should be able to figure out the joke
@Mkb617, this was suppose to be in response to 1967spiderman
Does anyone remember the riddler...I miss that guy
I'm visiting Florida right now. This is all very accurate.
Wow. I was lost in the Random section and didn't even realize I wasn't in the Recent section for a full day. It feels good to be back
@Steve Harveys Bltch, Welcome back! Here's a blanket and some cocoa.
Thanks for the report but us Floridians are already prepared with our jackets gloves and beanies
59degrees is only slightly chilly and that's if it's windy
And here I am in 20 degree weather wearing shorts and a t shirt.
Meh it's Florida. It's beach time until February when we fear of frostbite
I love our winters. I remember when it would last for a month! Been drizzling down to weeks and days now. Kinda sad, i miss wearing jackets and long sleeve shirts
God, it hasn't been above 40 here in a few weeks X( screw you Florida!
@Gay Ninja, I want your weather!
Southeast Idaho here. In a few days the high is going to be -5.
Is the joke that it's cold? I don't get it
@AMAZlNG SPlDERMAN, Florida is usually hot
@AMAZlNG SPlDERMAN, 50-60 is cold to them
@CamQuarter, aw shjt, you know what? I read it as "what will be held on Friday?" I totally missed the word "winter"
