Trump may be controversial, but he gets people's attention. I'm more worried about the people in Congress, the courts, and those behind Trump who use controversy as a smoke screen to further their own agendas.
@FurriesRuinEvrything, #illumnati NWO
@Pubmarine Shamwich, and fill it with swampy, extra putrid, coal powerplant waste mixed with festering "good old American feces."
If you think the country will end January 20th your an idiot.
@Doctor Krieger, *Yur
Just putting this out here:
Trump isn't going to "kill everyone" and celebrities are busy throwing tantrums because they're losing relevancy and need the attention to remain in the public spotlight.
@Doctor Krieger, exactly, if even a fraction of the things started happening that hollywood is saying will happen, a president would be stopped and impeached. A democracy works on checks and balances like that.
Anyone else notice that theres tons of rich people opposing Trump? Singers, YouTubers, writers, actors, all people who make ridiculous amounts of money in relation to the work they put in. An interesting observation.
@Puppy, the other rich people got jobs in his government...
Inb4 conservatives start complaining about liberals complaining
Man can you imagine if people threw as big of a fit about the warlords in africa, the dictators in many other countries, or any one else on earth as much as they do trump? It would help the world. But no, lets bvtch about this.
@Firecracker Jim, cuz we can actually talk here, good luck shït talking a warlord for more than 2 minutes
@Dexios S Divine, i mean in general. If WE worried about the other leaders of the world as much as we do trump.
@Firecracker Jim, I also feel like the conservative bunch complains about liberals complaining as much as liberals complain
@Firecracker Jim, well we did, remember kony? Waaay late to care about him though. I'm not saying we shouldnt give a shït about people who need help, but americas been the cops of the world for way too long. Id honestly prefer we focus on ourselves for at least 10 years to sort our shït out. But if we do that than fücking russia is gonna have a field day. I hate the state of the world right now
@Dexios S Divine, I remember people stopped caring about Kony when the guy who made that video cussed out a photographer while walking naked. If anything Kony was just a meme that people got into to make themselves look good on social media
@Captain Penis, because a lot of times when liberals complain they do so by trying to dehumanize anybody who doesn't agree with them. Of course not all liberals are like that but some of the most vocal ones sound incredibly intolerant of ideas they don't agree with, which is ironic since they usually claim to be open-minded
@Sexy Homunculus, yes but the most vocal members of conservatives complain the same way as well. Your own logic toward liberals applies to conservatives too. And as an independent party polarization in general pisses me off
@Firecracker Jim, pretty sure people in the United States are more vocal about Trump because he's their President. His policies and disposition can/will affect their lives. Warlords in Africa, while a noble cause, won't directly affect them
@K2S0, very true, but from what I've seen it seems like that happens more with liberals than it does with conservatives. Or at the very least SJWs seem to get more media attention out of it. I guess you could say the worst parts of the alt-right are sort of the conservative equivalent of the left's SJWs but they don't seem quite as vocal. At least not yet anyway, they just might when Trump takes office
@Firecracker Jim, Bad things happening elsewhere doesnt mean you cant focus on bad things happening where you live/the biggest superpower in the world. By your logic why are you on funnypics instead of fighting to end warlords rule in Africa right now? Why arent you providing aid to dying kids in Africa, because youre too busy critiquing others for not helping other countries?
@Sexy Homunculus, they are just as vocal. All you need do is go to any comment section on a news site and all you see is the far right blaming liberals for all the problems.
@Firecracker Jim, We kinda do care about people like Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo - but the President of Equatorial Guinea has less potential to mess up the planet than the US President does, so Trump gets more press.
It also feels like a lot of people are upset less about Trump being President than they are about the fact that people voted for him.
@Sexy Homunculus, the extreme right is just as bad as the extreme left. It enough working together and comprising. They are both to blame for the way thins are cause neither wants to admit they are part of the problem and work together to resolve is. The far left are stubborn and live in fantasy land. The far right would call what I just said about working together socialism. Both have their heads so far up their own ass and really only care about themselves and blaming the opposite side for everything. If they did care about others they would see that compromise is the only way to get anything done.
@Seohn, people tend to be more vocal about everything when they're online. When you're on the Internet you can say pretty much whatever you want since the Internet provides you with a lot more anonymity. But I would say that both sides say awful things about each other much more often online than in real life because of that
@Seohn, not really. When was the last time you've seen the far right hold mass protests and riot destroying businesses? Both sides like to whine about each other, but the major difference is the left feel they are entitled to do whatever they want and riot the way they want because they're view points are morally superior and everyone else is evil. The only protests the right has does is telling tea party ones, and then the right got the right permits, never destroyed anything, and cleaned up after themselves. There really isn't a valid comparison. (Disclaimer: I'm talking about the vocals on the left and right, not all of them).
@Oujosh29, so everyone who riots or protests has to be a liberal? Really?
@Dexios S Divine, recently? Yes. Very few protests and if memory serves, no riots from the right in the last few years. The left and left back groups however...
@Dexios S Divine, well, name the times in the last decade the right has rooted and destroyed property. The left was months of occupy wall Street, the BLM protests, the environmental protests, and the protests after Trump won. In all of these protests there was a significant amount of looting, destruction, and costs the states had to pick up. In occupy wall Street, the cities had to spend millions to clean up their camps. Now on the right you have what, tea party protests? Those protests were planned ahead, the necessary permits bought, and they cleaned up after themselves. The closest I can think of was the two Bundy occupations, which were stupidity their own right, but that's only 2 instances and there wasn't rioting or looting.
@Dexios S Divine, everyone thinks they have to say "both sides do it too" to seem fair minded, but sometimes that's bs. The right and the left are not the same people, why would you think they act the same? If hillary had won, I bet there wouldn't have been a single person in the streets protesting. The right would have gotten more involved in politics and fund raising, that's how they do it.
@Firecracker Jim, *psst* in recent history, America has been directly responsible for those warlords and dictators, that's why the word is mum on that
@Oujosh29, If nobody is inconvenienced or bothered in the slightest by the protest is it even a protest? Or is it just like a fun outing? I mean, it's called agitation for a reason.
@KeKesUHaulFacility , yes, it's still a protest, and annoying people only makes it less likely they will back your cause. Also, looting, destroying businesses and cars and costing tax payers millions isn't an inconvenience, it's illegal vandalism, theft, and destruction.
@Oujosh29, The whole damn country was built on vandalism, theft, and destruction.Violence begets violence, those in power must change before the citizens do. Nonviolence only works if your opponent has a conscience.
@Oujosh29, the right don't protest? What about those dudes who took over that government building and had a standoff with cops? Or the people who protest by abortion clinics? Are those people right wings or no? I honestly don't get the labels for libs and cons. I'm not defending the dumbass protests but if something pisses people off enough then they can protest if they want to, they'll look a fool if its over something trivial. I'm independent(?) i guess? I don't lean towards either way and i hold no loyalty no any party, i just want people who'll do their jobs and laws that doesn't fück people over. I'm not gonna spew some crap on limiting protesters on anything, I like my rights untouched
@Dexios S Divine, the people who took over the buildings were the bundys, already mentioned them. They are the only example of right wing protests that cross the line, though it should be noted they didn't even destroy anything. As for protests at abortion clinics, so what? Name one protest at an abortion clinic that turned into looting, destroying anything, or blocked traffic? You can't compare the lefts protests which continously turn into rioting, looting, blocking traffic, etc, to what the right does. There simply isn't any comparison; in the last decade every protest that has turned into a riot, looting, destroying neighborhoods, etc., has been left wing. The worse the right ever does is take over a couple federal buildings in the middle of nowhere and not even break anything.
@KeKesUHaulFacility , violence can change things, but historically it just gets those being violent thrown in jail or arrested. Not every protest is some grand noble cause, the recent ones have been based on crap.
@Dexios S Divine, just to be clear, I have no probably with protests, they are a constitutional right and nothing wrong with it. I'm talking about which group crosses the line from legit protesting to illegal nonsense.
@Oujosh29, well then yeah, fück the ones who start breaking shït. its usually not even that many, just a handful who start burning and looting. Fück em, jail time for their dumbasses and shame for taking away from what the protest was about
@Oujosh29, The rampant devaluing of human life isn't crap, and if you have to break shjt so it'll stop well...
@KeKesUHaulFacility , i don't get how destroying your own neighborhood is helping anything
@KeKesUHaulFacility , toplol you mean the black people killing other black people in rates so high that it's the number one killer of black men under 35? Oh wait that doesn't fit the narrative. How about the cops being more likely to use lethal force on you since your black? Oh wait recent studies show that they're more likely to use lethal force on whites and low level force on blacks. Why dont you go listen to Sean King try to explain how he's black now and Al Sharpton complain about something until he's paid off by the person who owns it?
Grab the flamethrowers! Here we go again!!
The next staged terrorist attack on American soil will be a biological one and it will be the gov's excuse to take away more rights from Americans (which they will gladly surrender) and to invade Russia. Trump being president means nothing.
The hunt for LRA leader, Joseph Knoy, is still on my friend. Even though it's not in the papers doesn't mean it's not happening.
