How thin are your floors? Usually there is some insulation between floors.
@Robin the Tactician, or those are some really long screws
@Muffin Jizz, look like lag bolts.... And I'm curious what they decided needed that much sandwiching power
@WelI Obviously, ikr wth is going on
@WelI Obviously, sex swing
@Robin the Tactician, not to mention the typical 2x6 floor joists!
@Robin the Tactician, just bang the screws with a hammer and it will teach the neighbor a lesson
@WelI Obviously, full chandelabra
You are the upstairs neighbour, just throw stuff on the floor in the middle on the night
@PoloPl, do you want him to get murdered because that's how you get murdered.
@PoloPl, Get pliers, turn the screws back until they're below floor level, place the end of a posi-tip screwdriver in the hole, slam a club hammer down on the handle and repeat until you hear the satisfying thud of the fitting falling out of the ceiling below.
@Nellybert , sounds like experience there
@Efrainlikesrain, Kinda. Bought an old house a few months ago, had to find some some creative solutions to problems created by the last owner's DIY attempts. Long story short, I now own a full set of crowbars ranging from 6 inches to 5 feet long and several very large hammers.
@Efrainlikesrain, And a pick-axe. But that was for the garden.
@Nellybert , that's what the axe murderer said but if you say it's for the garden I believe you * laughs nervously
@Efrainlikesrain, I don't have an axe. Yet.
Getting a couple of trees felled next month though, so I could get an axe to split the logs for firewood..... Yes, that sounds like good excuse......
Reason. That sounds like a good reason. Hehe, yeah. *giggles*
@Nellybert , well I already like you
"Honey, the new light is bleeding!"
hammer them till they go back
@ChuckxWagon, take a punch and hit it hard
Stepping on lego is worse
Well screw you too neighbor!
How big are those screws??
Hope you don't get screwed......sorry
Flatten then out with a hammer, it might knock the lights down but that's not your problem.
Call the Incredibles, the Underminer's back!
Uh. Pretty sure if you weigh more than about 50 lbs your floors should break from you walking on them
@Cjko27, unless they're concrete/correlated steel floors... in which case those screws would have been a bitch to get in so just deal with it.
Just hammer the screws back through the floor
that is an easy lawsuit right there
Hammers work well, you may scar your floor but the light will be gone
Hammer that suit down. They'll learn
Take up clog dancing.
Clearly your neighbor doesn't know what they're doing
Yea that's impossible, the building would never have passed inspection with floors that thin. Unless the downstairs was never finished and the upstairs had no insulation. In which case you should move out anyway lol
