I once saw a spider waking up, it stretched out its legs and then scratched itself it was a both adorable and scary at the same time
@Finch, that was nice of you to let it stretch and scratch itself before napalming your house
@WelI Obviously, I was actually outdoors at camp but then I sprayed its nest with water because there were a million of them and they terrified me
I don’t think I ever seen a snake drink water. It literally was chugging along mouth fulls and satisfactorily opened and closed its mouth with an “ahh”. Kawaii man
@megamanx181x, untill this point, i had never thought they drank water. i assumed they absorbed moisture through their skin or something...
@megamanx181x, I always thought they just absorbed moisture in the air, as stupid as that sounds
@Prince super Vegeta , well, we both learned something today
@megamanx181x, kawaii snake is doing kawaii things !!!
Such a sweet, slurping, slippery serpent.
@SleazyForWeasley, a slurpent
This looks to be a western (aka plains) hognose; I want one. They are rear fanged and have amphibian-specific venom that is virtually harmless to humans, like a bee sting.
@DumbleDank, I have a western hognose and she's adorable! She did accidentally bite me once (my fault) and it's not like a bee sting. My whole hand swelled up to twice it's size and was all red for about a week.
@Lochu, seems you are allergic to bee stings.
That’s a fat snake
I thought they dipped their tongues in like dogs do. Not like suck it up like mouthfuls. They literally are straws with teeth
This freaked me out for some reason
Still amazes me how some evolutionary processes in animals were "fvck legs." Snakes are great.
Handsome hognose. One of my faves.
Oh so that's how my trouser snake fills up. Brb fellas.
