My hands look like this cuz motor oil makes a good lube for jacking it
The working poor.
@miwftw, I call it the plight of the part timers, companies getting around needing to provide a decent living wage by having 4 full timers to a crew of 50 part timers getting 29 hours a week (to avoid mandatory hour stipulations) and then those part timers needing to get another part time job to make ends meet, so now they're working 58 hours a week minimum, no overtime, probably minimal to zero benefits, and unable to move forward because the corporations keep threatening jobs through automation.
@ Tobias Widower, I have been through that unfortunately , worked for a place part time that would purposefully work me 39 hours to avoid classifying me as full time and paying me benefits. stay strong part timers you'll get your full time job someday
@ Tobias Widower, also sucks when they expect you to give them 80 hours of flexibly when making the schedule so scheduling with the other job is a nightmare
@ Tobias Widower, go work for someone else? Theres plenty of good jobs for people who have the education/trade
@ Tobias Widower, Noooooo. That’s called the ‘gig economy’ and apparently millennials want that over job stability and pension contributions etc.
At least, that’s what the CEOs of multinationals had one of their staff tell us because they were on their private jet so couldn’t be reached for comment.
@miwftw, when I grew up that was known as paying your dues.
@ Tobias Widower, then you get a good job that pays salary and wind up working 60 or more hours a week anyway
Hey at least he can get something off the dollar menu... before tax... aw damn! Looks like its water for dinner again
Blue collar man still struggling
