@BearInATopHat, I wouldn't be to doom and gloom about if I were you. Sure, things might not be as chirpy and bubbly now, but for the most part it should hopefully be somewhat...inspirational to what you could do. To make things better that is. Maybe impart a bit of what made the 'good 'old days' special into what you do in any given moment, or into the moments to come. I do enjoy giving out a good complaint here and there, but for me, if I cant make the difference that I want to see happen, I generally assume other people aren't obligated to do it for me. This isnt some weird dig at you In any way; it's more so just maybe accepting that things dont always stay the same. People move on, people change. And the best you can do is hope that it was all for the best. Hopefully you had a decent Thanksgiving (if you celebrate it) ;D

If you want education you can have it. Most of the problem is teachers spending all their time having to deal with kids who don't want to be there when there are some who do who can't get a word in edgewise. I can't see why people say parents should be 100 percent responsible for their kids internet consumption, but when it comes to their engagement level they blame teachers for somehow not tricking their own kids into learning with flashy methods and games. A teacher is a resource and we have it; we just don't value it, so neither do our kids.
