“... and they never did that again.”
@Cave Dweller, you know how the Japanese are, they probably panicked they had one less day to work and got shjt done!
@seeUpee, dat me
@seeUpee, two days. If I’m not completely of base, Japan normally have a 6 day work week.
One can dream...
@megamanx181x, those of us that work in a factory setting-
"No we cant"
@ThePandaPool , *cracks whip*
I work a 4-10 schedule and love it.
@Sir Borksalot , my last two jobs had that schedule, and honestly going back to five days is miserable. The extra two hours a work day is so worth having a third day off, it actually allows you to really decompress and take care of other things in your life
@Sir Borksalot , my job used to but we have a supervisor that is a huge dick and put us on 8 hour days
@Sir Borksalot , Amen. I miss those days. I didn't feel like I had to cram everything into the weekend and could actually enjoy my free time. Editor's Note : I am extremely disorganized and have been living out of my clothes basket since the pandemic started.
@Funny Pics Janitor, ... you say that as if any of us aren’t, I haven’t worn pants since it started
@TheWafflingDead, not to mention guaranteeing a day you can go do stuff you can only do on weekdays without needing time off. Like doctors appointment, dmv, dealing with the ex in court....
For the record though, I'd like to say before smash 5 released, that someone who was working with Sakurai on the game said that he was taking some time off and "Only working 50 hours a week", so good fvcking God, what the Japanese are pulling off right now is sheerly staggering.
I had a job like that once. 4, 12 hour shifts then 3 days off. Was awesome!
@Thanatoz, shouldn't that be a 10 hour day not 12?
@hasher2288, Salaried management position not hourly unfortunately. But it was still awesome.
Jumped 40% for how long though?
I know a guy fighting for this for you as we speak.
I do shift work, we have a 4 day week, then two days off. It is a bit strange but once you get used to it it is amazing.
Meanwhile, China introduced an eighth day to the work week, and 40 percent of the workers jumped out the window...
How do you measure productivity over only one week?
