Waluigi is not happy...
Still going to be too slow to enjoy. Melee was by far the best, it's faster, more intense and rewarding. It has really nice skill ceilings with tech skills too. There's a reason Melee, after more than 15 years is worth double any of the other smash games out there (usually 30-35). After 15 years, it's gone up in value by 50% (40-->60). And every smash game eventually gets modded to play like Melee, like PM and Melee HD. Proof is in the pudding, Nintendo, we like a faster competitive game. Not just a party game, because that's not how smash should go down.
@GayShjtSniper, they said they were trying to go back to the style of melee, but it's running off of the same engine the wiiu smash does. Either way, I'm still excited to play young link on the switch
@GayShjtSniper, what's wierd is since I haven't played since melee this will be like melee 2 with new characters released so everyone's old game is my new game and everyone's new game is my old game
@GayShjtSniper, but my favorite was the original for n64... is that not the best one? I played whatever the first one was that came out for the Wii as well, didn't enjoy it as much. Better story though, obviously.
@Soulless at birth, Isnt it on unreal engine now?
@brathosan, not that I'm aware of, I believe it's a modified engine that we've seen before, the Unreal tag was placed there for the direct itself (fortnite, octopath, etc.) not specifically for smash since there's no mention of the unreal engine included anywhere else
@Soulless at birth, oh, okay.
