Wtf, Nevada is waaaaay hotter than Cali!
@Punny lad, Come again? We have like the hottest place in the entire United States...
@Punny lad, the state of Hawaii has a tropical climate as well, meaning it actually doesn't get that hot or cold, it just hovers between 60-88 degrees, so it's weird that they labeled it as death alongside cali.
Edit: I replied to wrong feller but oh well.
@Punny lad, The problem isn't the weather, it's the people
@Imperial Goat, agreed
@Imperial Goat, if you're polite as a Canadian in California, even on the road, you will be killed.
@Punny lad, it sounds like a cliché but dry heat is way better than moist heat. I was in vegas when it was 115° and it was pretty comfortable, compared to Florida 90°
Hawaii is pretty nice though
@CrazyManInaBox, right usually around 80 degrees almost all year round
@CrazyManInaBox, I live in Hawaii it's always nice though there's a lot of humidity. I sweat like crazy here
@Stacys daughter , been hotter than Hades lately, though.*lives on Oahu*
@Madelin, tell me about it *lives on Kauai*
@Stacys daughter , agreed *lives on Maui*
@Stacys daughter , I vacation on Kauai. How do you like living there? Always seems like a nice play to visit but wouldn't want to live there. Or more accurately couldn't afford to live there. And the great chicken uprising is bound to happen anytime soon.
@Oujosh29, well because I live here my whole life I love it, but it is expensive and it's such a small island with no night life there's nothing much to do sometimes. It is expensive to live here
What's wrong with Colorado it gets plenty cold here in some areas
@Bigm222, sounds like a no to me. I'll just sit here in Satan's armpit.
@Soul Eaten, I live in the NO zone. Sounds about right.
@Bigm222, just curious, from a Canadian standpoint, what do you consider cold?
@Bigm222, We don't know which states are where.
@Bigm222, We vacationed in Colorado a few years back. Stayed a few days in Leadville. It's always nice and cold there!
@Malice211, depending on where you are winters can have consistently be around -20 degrees Celsius
Why tf is Maryland not habitable lol
@GoldenShowerr, As a fellow Marylander I too wondered why our state is always generically thrown in with another category yet again
@GoldenShowerr, It's too close to D.C.?
As a central Californian, I can confirm that we are all slowly roasting.
@Spadez7, Sorry to hear friend, is hot all day kind of thing?! As a coastal Californian myself we just have multiple weather sequences throughout a day.
@SweetSmiles, from the bay, I'm guessing? SF is amazing in the evenings.
@Spadez7, Wonderful guess mate! Yeah I am from the Bay, and agreed on the evening of SF. Their attractions and views are quite a beauty! It's just the finding a parking and traffic that is a small hassle.
@SweetSmiles, I'm in SF at least twice a month. Temperature is fantastic, the view is great, and the Magikarp are always biting.
@Spadez7, as an Arizonan I feel your pain friend.
@Spadez7, where in Central California??
@Jayrock122, Sacramento area.
@Spadez7, oh, I thought you meant central as in mid state
California is great! I live here. It's just super expensive.
Well I live in the death
Why is the habitable zone so big? 90% of Canadians live within something like 100miles of the border. I don't know the exact stats, but it's somewhere around there.
Utah: 120+ in the summer but -20+ in the winter because fyck moderation right? I dug my car out of 6 feet of snow 6 months ago and now I'm roasting on my way to work.
@Domogle, I hear you...but I'll take roasting over the winter we just had any day.
Live in Alaska and it's only slightly cold, gets a bit to hot at times
@BicBoy, I'm from the "cold" region, and I know a Canadian that complains about the heat all the time.
I feel like Alabama is more like Satan's crack, but armpit works too
@Captain Magma, That statement makes me feel uncomfortable
@Good Guy Satan, *wink wink
Summer Kansas is super hot, Winter Kansas is super cold. Kansas weather covers a huuuuge range of temperatures.
@Cynical Pancakes, Same here in Iowa.
That's true, Canadians don't even know Mexico exists
@Sirsketch, The world likes to pretend it doesn't. It's for the better.
@Sirsketch, if there's one thing we Canadians fear it's Mexico… If the heat doesn't kill us then the water will. And they don't have hockey or good beer either, so there is no reason to go there anyway.
Nah west coast stays kind of warm up north, east coast is polar desolation
If it was a real canadian, the entire USA would just say Death.
California should be named "SJWtopia"
Florida is not nearly as unbearable as TN and GA
Satan's Armpit now has a petition to succeed to satan's asshole
Good, I can be 100% certain now a Canadian will never come down to Satan's Armpit
It's too hot in Maine. It got to 91 last week. I almost died.
Heck ya im habitable
So I guess Mexico just doesn't exist then?
I live in western mainland death
Why no Mexico?
I live in Nova Scotia Canada. One time, a couple of years back, I remember being in the middle of a very hot and dry spell. Basically it felt like we were all going to melt! Then I had this lovely couple come into my store, both tourists. Both of them were wearing jackets on this hellishly hot day and, when I asked how their trip was going, one of them said "oh, it's so lovely here, but it's so cold!" That is a 100%, guaranteed genuine, true story.
@Malice211, I've seen the opposite when I went down to visit family in Florida. It was unusually cold weather for the area, in the low 60s. I had no problem going out with shorts, while all the locals had jackets on.
@Cloverleaf, Same here. Visited family in Florida one January. After staying overnight, went to go out on the deck. Mother told me to put on a jacket. Just looked at her, looked at the outside thermometer, and told her "It's 65 degrees out. This is shirtsleeve weather." She used to live in the Mid-Atlantic with us only 5 years previous.
Clearly these Canuckastanis have never been to Montana or the Dakotas, theyre nothing but national parks and drinking problems.
Central Alberta and Saskatchewan are colder than most Northern Territories in the winter so I'd say this is not accurate
@Helicopter , Canadian elementary school accurate
I've lived in "Death" and "Habitable Zone" before
Hawaii isn't part of North America at all
SoCal has some nice cold weather... where I live near the beach the weather changes from one extreme to another so you never what you'll get
@Colleen4, the part of so cal I live in is death. Usually isn't below 90
False Arizona is death too
As a Floridian who is currently not dead, I beg to differ. Hell, maybe. But not death.
@lovely imposter, help! A deacon walks among us!! :)
I live in Tennessee and it's usually not that bad.
Wasington feels like the no zone right now.
As someone who lives in Florida, can agree
I'm actually waiting to hear back about a job in the nope zone of Alaska. So hopefully I'll be going from no to nope.
@AbelFive, enjoy the disappearance of the sun in winter and it's constant bid for attention in the summer, cause that's in the arctic circle last I checked
@Cloverleaf, yeah! I'm so excited!
I would put Louisiana as death of Florida is.
Florida, aka Death.
The only thing they got right was satans armpit in the sount
The only thing they got right was satans armpit in the south
@Ealm, we have an edit comment button now...
@Jebodeiasque, I hit the edit button and it did this
Arizona resident, can confirm
*insert state here* isn't actually that bad because...
As a South Death native, I can tell you that it's no where near as bad by the Atlantic as it is in central Satan's Armpit, with those landlocked states. At least we have a sea breeze to keep us nice and cool in the shade.
As someone who came from New England, can confirm
As a Montanan, I agree with this.
Living in the east coast "no" zone, I find that quite a few Canadians vacation here. Map is very inaccurate
Well they at least got Florida right
Haha I'm dead
