These are the people that need a swift kick to the jewels
@obijuankenobi, I'm pretty sure people have died because they couldn't afford Epi pens from the price increase. If so, she deserves a permanent trip to the cemetery.
@wulfzen, too merciful how about a trip to Cage's Wicker Man
@obijuankenobi, *a million swift kicks in the jewels by people with knives attached to their shoes
@wulfzen, no, she doesn't. Murder is not an acceptable means to political goals nor an acceptable method of discourse.
@Doctor Krieger, you're right. Murder is to good of a solution. They'll no longer feel it if they are dead. Slow painful torture is the only way to handle this.....
Or realizing that capitalism without regulations to prevent price gouging like this is not a good thing.
@obijuankenobi, anyone else hope she gets anaphylaxis and can't find an epi-pen?
@obijuankenobi, more like their father needed a good kick to the jewels the day they were conceived, might have prevented them all together
So sort of like that çunt Martin skreli?
@StarsAyyy, yeah, but with more lives on the line. I'm very surprised that there hasn't been more public outcry, it's been like this for atleast a year
@irishdude, AuviQ should be back on the market soon and the competition should drive down the price, at least a little.
@irishdude, too busy with Trump
@StarsAyyy, he's actually a great guy :/
@PvtSpy, It hurts me when people say that people with aids are dying because of what he did...
she got a law passed requiring them to be available in schools, so she could create demand and then jack the pricing.
Her and congress are both giant douchebags and are equally at fault.
@big freedom, Funny, it's almost as if the government shouldn't mandate contracts with private companies who have large shares of market power.
@PB4UGAMER, Nope, that makes too much sense and contains a shred of morality.
@PB4UGAMER, wait a minute... are you saying the market should dictate which businesses win or lose, rather than the government? That's absurd.
@big freedom, the issue is branding. sure, i think it's a good idea to mandate that schools carry "auto-injectable epinephrine", which is the generic concept. that means that they could purchase any brand of auto-injectable epinephrine, be it epipens or another brand. mandating that schools have epipens (or doctors writing prescriptions specifically for epipens instead of the generic) means that schools/people HAVE to choose that brand, meaning competition by any other brand cannot survive.
@Ruupasya, it's common practice here for government - through specific regulation - to decide which companies get to succeed. This is sold to us in the name of "safety". All it is, is companies with enough money/influence buying laws which favor them over competitors. They write their own regulations since they can afford to abide by those laws and smaller competitors are forced out of the market, or never even begin because they can't afford it.
FVCK THIS BICH!!!
@SmacktalkerSkywalker, with a cactus!
She needed it to afford aids medication
Pay to live, I love it. It's the best DLC
Why don't you carry your own epi pens if you really need one? Not blame the school?
@Your Dankest Secret, Who said I was? I'm just pissed that I now have to pay an absurd amount for lifesaving medicine
@Your Dankest Secret, the point is that elementary-middle schoolers can be forgetful. Especially those younger kids. They're sort of a last resort, not a meant to be a dependency.
@Alexander HamiIton, so the parent should let the school know that their child might need one in an emergency and give them one? Idk i just don't see the logic in it. I know the school is supposed to protect the children it holds but I wouldn't make the school pay for a wheelchair if my child is handicapped, I would take care of my child because it's my child, ya know?
@Your Dankest Secret, it could be an unknown allergy or something of that nature. They carry machines to restart the heart at schools. Why not an epi-pen to save a life?
@madeyoulook2, thank you. There's some reason in that answer. Now it's up to the nurse to be able to properly diagnose the problem and know how to treat it
@Your Dankest Secret, ya buy your own ramps then why should my taxes have to pay for your kid.
@payton manning, now that's just absurd. Ramps are for everyone but especially those in wheelchairs or on crutches. It helps out a lot but that's a different issue sir as why I used the wheelchair as an example. I get what you're saying tho but now we're talking about liability issue if my child who's in a wheelchair would take the stairs and hurt himself more
Having her killed.would be ok, right?
@Scottles, n-.. no..
@Scottles, nothing against her having an...accident..
@Scottles, and the fûckers in congress that went along with all this horseshît.
@D4rthbob, I know this guy see. Jimmy. Jimmy no shoes. He helps people have accidents.
"You mean he helps people when they have accidents?"
Uhhh. Sure. That too probably. Yeah.
This kind of crap is what makes my pharmacy job suck. "I'm sorry Mrs. Doe but your insurance won't pay for two packs of epipens and I can't do anything about the fact that your kid's school requires the medication be given to them in its sealed original box." it only costs a few cents to make those dang things!!!
Sorry for the rant.
Can she be arrested for that kind of like how the guy got arrested for skyrocketing the price of a life-saving drug a while back?
@Bonersaurus, he didn't get arrested for that. He was brought to trial for something unrelated.
The drug wasn't even going to save a huge number of lives. It was for a disease that maybe several thousand people in the US have, of which a handful were in a life-threatening state.
The guy basically bought the rights to the drug and had to make its production profitable somehow.
If you look into things beyond the manipulative media narrative, you'll be amazed at how much is left out to advance the narrative.
She deserves to eat a dick... with cheese
@Dick with Cheese, not just cheese but dickcheese
@mas2de, Bleu cheese
@TheRatMan, extra moldy frumunda chees
Corrupt politicians and people like her should be dragged in the street and shot.
@ThaSmoothieKing, of all the people in the world, those who advocate for violence against others as a method of discourse are my least favorite.
No, being a corporatist crony does not warrant murder.
There's a special place in hell for these people!
People! Jesus Christ!
You're being much worse than this woman with your emotional, knee-jerk calls to violence and murder!
Welcome to lobbying, cronyism, and the political establishment.
These people need to be put to death
@benderama, the same rationalization that genocidal dictators use.
You're worse than her if your immediate response to this is to have her murdered.
They are beating a decomposed horse at this point
@The guy with the gun, who? This is the first time I've seen a picture referencing her on here for a while
@The guy with the gun, Can I borrow that?
*Scribes her name on a bullet.
