Any german can translate?
@PVT Donut, Panzerkampfwagen is a tank.
@therutabagaclub, one of the first german tanks, but it was soon succeeded by the panzerkampfwagen 2 in World War II
@MrChalking, Sorry this is so long but I like this stuff and have few chances to talk about it. The panzerkampfwagen (usually shortened to pzkpfw or pz) was the name for the majority of German tanks because in German most things are named for what they literally are. They had the pz1-pz7 or 8 if you include the experimental maus anything higher then 8 was only paper tanks from what I understand. And most tanks that didn't bare the name pzkpfw were design variations of the pzkpfws for example the jagdtiger a tank destroier built from a tiger hull. Or the gwpanther self propelled gun built from panther hulls.
@PVT Donut, it roughly translates to 'Tank Battle Wagon' I think, and it's what all German main line tanks were called during WW2 (Pz.Kfw followed by their model and make)
@That Lord Guy, literally translated it is armoured fighting vehicle
