And concussion in 3 2 1
Knocked him in to next decade
@ILoveKnawedge, he looks like a kicker
@ILoveKnawedge, at least next pre season
Pretty sure this dude got legitimately messed up because of this
@bigpapazero20four, Look on his face and the way he's reacting, there's some permanent damage for sure
@bigpapazero20four, he was fine. He even tweeted after the game joking around that he was alive
@bigpapazero20four, looks like a neck/upper back injury to me. ..
A recent study showed that 110 out of 111 football players brains donated to science had brain damage. This sport is tragic
@Zerocool11, also 111 out of 111 of those brains were from guys that played football and then died. Coincidence?! I think not...
@Zerocool11, All of them from family who suspected they had CTE. Bad data is bad.
@DrDisastor, o, it was baised? What bull
@Zerocool11, And fun too!
@DrDisastor, its not bad data because even 110 people having the same degenerative brain disease from football is a strong correlation
@addibruh, but they represent the data like they collected 111 random football players and tested them. No, they grabbed 111 that already suspected brain trauma because they already demonstrated the symptoms. It's misleading. I'd like to know the rate people who don't have sports have CTE and compare them. That would actually show something relevant.
@Zerocool11, you get paid millions of dollars to throw/catch/kick/run with a ball, accept the risk or don't play. I'm not really a fan of football but people freaking out that there's long term damage from being hit really hard constantly seems retarded to me.
@addibruh, There is no question head injuries cause CTE. The issue is how and who are more likely. These results do nothing to reveal that, only confirm what we already know. Bad data. I am actually a scientist irl for the record.
@DrDisastor, yes head injuries cause CTE but this study was interesting because it showed a correlation between repetitive minor head trauma and CTE. No study is perfect and if I'm not mistaken the authors acknowledged the limitations of their work. All data collected in this study was good and no reasonable person is contesting the validity of their data. If anything the flaw was in the design of the study but certainly not their data
@addibruh, So you have no understanding of experimental design. The problem with CTE is it can only be officially diagnosed with autopsy. A better study, one with valid useful data would have been one to both control the football players and including players with no signs of CTE. We could then examine their position on the feild, genetic makeup, and reported injuries to maybe make a difference. Simply confirming football players have CTE does nothing for our understanding and because this data was heavily bias its bad to begin with. No effort was made to clean bias or provide blind comparison, the correlation loses statistical value (no P-value) and is objectively bad.
@Mumen Rider , That's part of the reason why they get paid so much. No insurance company will cover them, so all of their medical bills are paid out of their pocket.
Did I just watch someone die?
@Jolee Bindo, in this country it's entertainment, don't worry about it
@megamanx181x, ITS FOOTBALL SEASON AGAIN WOOO!!
You just got knocked THE FUGG OUT!!!
Dude that game was awesome
Riiiiiiing my bell 🎶
He must have said something about that blocker's mother.
