Rather than a hero we’re more like prisoners
Hazard pay really needs to be a thing.
@ThePandaPool , it is for me, it's just that it's $2.50 extra an hour.
@Keoninzmu, better then me. I get .75
@theshadosnipe, you guys are getting hazard pay
@theshadosnipe, I get literally nothing extra and am actually making a couple hundred less a week than I was before all this
@Keoninzmu, boi that'd be nice, I work in a hospital and get nothing extra.
@Keoninzmu, I got 50¢
@Emilio Bandersnatch , same
Work is now telling us not to get overtime so I’m missing about 5-10 hours OT a week now
@Keoninzmu, that's actually amazing
@shocking60, so then don’t come in I certainly don’t work for free
@ThePandaPool , Hazard pay is just price gouging for essential workers.
Change my mind.
@eleven, I'm assuming it's where you need to clock out (and go home) before you hit 40 hours in a week.
@PVT Leonard Church, My brother and I are not getting anything extra and we are essential workers. On top of that, my hours have been cut by 10-15hr a week. Don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful that I’m still working at all. But as for hazard pay, it just depends on the business.
@A Deformed Penis, no thanks. I learned not to argue with insanity.
@ThePandaPool , I work in a hospital in rooms with positive patients and everyone in the hospital is getting $0
@PVT Leonard Church, that played out so perfect I love you so much
@Unoriginal, same with my wife...
@ThePandaPool , $0 haz pay here at Walmart. And unoriginal I am very sorry and thank you for your work. I really hope that you are not having any financial struggles during and after this time.
@ThePandaPool , my “hazard pay” is an extra 25¢/hr that gets added up on the second paycheck of every month. It’s so small I don’t even notice.
Because if you quit there would be a line applying for your job?
@BigJohnson86, Unless you work in fast food, then they’ll just put a touch screen in to replace you.
Because they’re easily replaceable.
Not a judgment on their individual worth as a human being, just an economic reality.
I'm definitely not making minimum wage. But I'm keeping the lights on for you fellas so yall can charge yalls phones and post dank memes. Power plant operator checking in
I think ya mean “sacrifices”
Mine is 20% and doesn't stack with overtime so once I hit OT which I always do because half our staff is gone I switch to 50% which is BS.
