To those of you who haven't heard, the sniper community is all a buzz about this one Canadian sniper who shot an ISIS Militant from over 3450 meters away
@Good Guy Satan, what round was he firing? I know the .338 lapua round held the record for a while
@Good Guy Satan, I'm divided on this, coz im usually pacifist without exception, except thos sounded awesome coz the bullet was in the air for like 6 seconds which is cool to think about, and an ISIS militant probably deserved it
@FullMetalAlcoholist, pretty sure the rifle is a McMillan TAC-50, which is .50 BMG
@I Forget My Name, 50 and 416 are the go-to's for those extreme shots. They just buck the wind better...
@add eggs then stir, Probably deserved it? The moment you mention ISIS, all those fůckers deserve every round, airstrike, motor round and any other form of putting them in the ground that comes their way. Except when talking about Archer.
@RandomUsername042, didnt they change the name of the agency after isis became a bad thing?
@PandaPoots, I'm not sure, im 2 or 3 seasons behind.
@PandaPoots, they're not even an agency anymore after season 1
@add eggs then stir, he was ISIS, they all deserve it
@add eggs then stir, I just think it's amazing because even if the calculations and shot were perfect, the dude could have easily moved during that time. I have no idea how they compensate for that
@NikolaFreakingTesla, or the fact there isn't a scope with that many mil corrections that I've ever heard of so he probably had to use Kentucky Windage and a few missed shots to walk onto the target. Or a ton of luck and skill but a lot of luck.
@add eggs then stir, bullet travelled for 10 seconds.
@FullMetalAlcoholist, A low grain 50 BMG always wins against .338. However I am sure if it was a more influential round 765 Lazeroni could beat that.
@add eggs then stir, 10 seconds... which makes it way cooler.
@NikolaFreakingTesla, you can't. It's a tremendous amount of luck. I have a friend that is really into long range shooting and he was talking about the difficulties of shooting consistently at 600 yards. To even make contact 1 out 10 shots at 1,000 yards is crazy impressive. This guy must have done his best, thrown a prayer up, then pulled the trigger and God did the rest.
@Breast Day Ever, what do you consider consistently? I can hit a man size target consistently 10 out of 10 shots with a M4 and iron sights at 500 yards. Give me a X4 ACOG and I can squeeze the group down considerably. What size target are you talking about?
Over 2 mile shot for my fellow Americans
@circle town, holy fvck
@circle town, HOLY SJIT *in the voice of the guy from how to freya*
@Imaginaut, Double j? I love that dude.
@Pyvin, you gotta be creative nowadays.
@circle town, but when I take a shot from over 2 miles people just call me an alcoholic!
Uh... what's that? A different type of shot? Oh...
Don't piss Canada off or they will bring out the expert
@HUZZAH, in all seriousness, if the US were to annex Canada a la fallout universe, the Canadian military would surrender almost immediately, and quietly assimilate back into society and kick a well trained winter insurgency into high gear.
@ Tobias Widower, as a Canadian, if the US said "bend and spread", we say "how wide?"
@ Tobias Widower, It's not a secret, US can annex almost any country in the world, but what do You guys want? A peaceful and happy world? Or a world or greed and warmongers
@Fearless Fapper, well after the trial version of the latter ends I would like to try the former for a while.
That's impressive and all, but...... did he do a jumping 360 before firing, and then t-bag the corpse and say he fvcked his mother?
Hey Canada...none of them ever said sorry. Do your thing.
This reminds me of a meme of ISIS threatening the US, the US shrugs it off. ISIS threatens Canada and the US gets mad sensitive and defensive because we cover up our insane affection for our Canadian brethren with macho strength. Cheers for the northerners •-•
Dang that's incredible, I thought Craig Harrison's record would stand for years. #FUNHAUS
I like how I know that this poster is actually in the military
