I had to watch Akira for my uni today, and I was only supposed to find parallels between religion in Akira and postwar Japan. Here I am being so excited by the movie that I analysed everything instead and am too giddy to sleep at 3am. Why can't uni always be like this?
On a different note, can someone sing me to sleep, I am deprived and very desperately need it
@A pet named Steve, sleep is for the weak... COOFFEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️
@seeUpee, hell yeah! Today my order of 24 cans of Monster espresso arrived... I'm never sleeping again!!!
@A pet named Steve, that is like a week supply... order more!!! Quick!!!
@seeUpee, I know! Luckily, with the help of monster espresso with milk™ I can order more monster espresso with milk™ at even faster speeds than normal!
@A pet named Steve, I once took a class on 20th century Japan, although a good portion of it also focused on the Tokugawa era at the beginning. We got to watch Seven Samurai during that time, and when we got to WWII we watched Grave of the Fireflies and a documentary about the Nanking massacre.
I wasn't surprised when I finished that class with an A
@A pet named Steve, say it with me: KANEDA!! TETSUO!!
@Sexy Homunculus, that sounds so cool! I wish we did that when I had that class!
@A pet named Steve, what is love
@A pet named Steve, dang, had I seen this, I'd totally offer to sing you to sleep haha
@MrWonka, *bobs head* baby don't hurt me
@Sven and Otar, the thought is appreciated :D
@A pet named Steve, don't hurt meee
@A pet named Steve, my buddy recently said "Sleep is just the tease of death." Now we're done with our finals project... That was due a week after finals... And extended because not a single person was able to do it. On top of the homework he assigned the first day of finals. Yup same class. Was fvçked. Monster is güd. Coffee is güd.
Anyway, hope yours went well. And now
Get a tired birb or wabbit, cuddle up to a loved one and have them stroke your head as they play this for you.
As a kid, me and my best friend at that age always messed around with sticks and even played out ‘war’ scenarios. Honestly it was about as close to LARPing as I’ve ever come too. Palm branches (when ages, never new ones as they have spikes) made for great swords.
We also threw acorns at each other, including his two sisters where we played in teams.
That stick the strongest thing this side of the cosmos, until you bash it a little too hard and it breaks
I still do this don’t know when you guys stopped being fun
