Help, I'm stuck in INACTIVE and can't fix it
I say I’m boycotting Bethesda because I don’t like their business practices, but I’m just broke af
@Captain Anderson, good game = good game and they get it consistently. I have never played or even heard of a bad Bethesda game (except FO4, we don't talk about that), as buggy as they are
@GayShjtSniper, i tried playing FO4 3 times. Each time I would put all this effort into building a settlement or two which was the best part and customizing some weapons. But the game fell apart from there, never finished the storyline even once
@Dephenistrator, i like running around and exploring in FO4, which is helped by the fact that i added a bunch of fun mods
@Fightin First, mods make Bethesda games incredible
@Dephenistrator, I finished it twice, once with the brotherhood and once with the institute, while I agree it's not their best game, I still like it, although I don't know how much enjoyment I would get without mods..
@Devious Olive , theres something about Master Chief running around with an 88mm KwK 36 cannon thats just so enjoyable...
@Fightin First, have you tried the gundam power armors that have infinite jetpack? They look great in a garage or display in your settlement
@Fightin First, mods are the greatest thing to exist which is why I'm a little worried about 76..
@Dephenistrator, honestly I'm 90% sure they've made an online game for the sole reason of forcing you to use creation club
@GayShjtSniper, i liked fallout 4. But new vegas was my shiiit.
@GayShjtSniper, Brink was Bethesda's most mediocre game, and it wasn't even that bad.
@Captain Anderson, the night skyrim dropped I had a pirated version. Not because I didn't want to buy it but I was a broke college kid. Since then I've bought 4 copies, that bastard Todd Howard
@GayShjtSniper, is...is FO4 really considered that bad? I enjoyed it but it's also the first one I owned so i have no other fallouts to compare it to
@GayShjtSniper, i liked FO4. it cant be perfect. Its impossible. And all the hate for FO76 is ridiculous, everyone complaining about how it "ruined" their fallout are still gonna buy it and play it endlessly.
FO4 is an excellent game and the reason most people didnt like it was their overhyped expectations. FO3 had the same hate and it was used to base skyrim mechanics. Skyrim is one of the most successful games to ever be made.
@GonMoose the Great, it's got great new mechanics but other fallouts did the rest better. If you can try new vegas, that was the best fallout.
@GayShjtSniper, have you played skyrim? That game has huge flaws, and when they tried to patch they just tried to make the water look better and ended up messing up the sound quality. Not saying it's a horrible game, but almost all bethesda games are great because of how you can mod them, not because of how good they are on their own.
@GonMoose the Great, The gameplay is really good, but the story and rpg aspects kinda suck.
@Captain Anderson, you're as broke as a typical Bethesda game?
@GayShjtSniper, but I kinda liked Fallout 4...
@GayShjtSniper, I loved it. But I played with lots of quality of life and customization mods. Finished it with the Railroad.
@GayShjtSniper, I disagree. While I LOVE Bethesda games, with the exception of Morrowind I think the base games are terrible. From Oblivion on they've had no story, sub par controls, shallow RPG elements and a very dated graphics engine (oblivion was gorgeous for the time). There are 2 reasons I love Bethesda games: total freedom and mods.
@The Senate, Bethesda didn't make brink, they published it
@cruss4612, fallout 76 won't have mods. Therefore that's $60 I get to keep.
@Jessie02, what's the difference? I'm not very smart in these things..
So who else is super hyped for Fallout 76?
@I Are Lebo, can you be both disappointed and hyped at the same time? If so, yes.
@I Are Lebo, no mods :(
@Jessie02, there are going to be mods for 76. Private servers, too.
@I Are Lebo, if I can play the entire game solo with modding on the same level as past games I will buy it and enjoy it.
@Jessie02, that’s a little silly. That’s like saying “I’m only going to play a video game that I put together myself”.
Mods are fun, yeah, but you’re paying for the game the developer made, not the one slapped together by you or various anonymous modders.
If that’s your standard for a good game, you’re not a gamer. You’re just a modder.
@I Are Lebo, hey if you like the base game that's great! More power to ya! But you don't get to tell me if I'm a gamer or not. So... why in the world do you care why I buy the game? What I do with it won't effect you at all.
@Jessie02, it’s not an issue of caring. What you buy and don’t buy, as well as what you like and don’t like, is none of my business. My point was simply that if you don’t like a game unless you can change it, you don’t like that game, you like the idea of that game.
Like, if you don’t like the Harry Potter books unless you include fan fiction into the canon, or change the actual sequence of events in your mind, you’re not a Harry Potter fan.
If you don’t enjoy playing any of the Fallout games unless you significantly modify the experience, then you aren’t playing Fallout, you’re playing YOUR version of Fallout. A small, but significant difference in my view.
@I Are Lebo, agreed. I find the FO base games to be mostly below average. I do not consider myself a fallout fan at all. But as they are one of only a handful of games that support heavy modding I buy them sometimes and loved the end result in FO4 as a result. I'm a modder and a gamer.
I'll play a buggy Bethesda game all day long over any EA game.
Everyone who is having issues with Fallout 4.. maybe your system is broke or you are weak.. lol who knows sucks for you
Todd Howard is a face
Every coder feels the same
I heard something about horse testicles in Red Dead Redemption 2
That explains Skyrim
