It's in reference to an earlier episode. A child gets stuck with a gas mask on and is looking for his mum. It's a great episode and I suggest watching it. If you haven't seen it, you probably don't watch Doctor Who. I would suggest watching Doctor Who.
@Timekeeper II EST, yes
@Timekeeper II EST, you say "great" I say "freaky as hell" but meh you say potato.
@Peeta Griffin, yeah some episodes are a little freaky, but some are just epic.
@Timekeeper II EST, Yea like the angels
@Timekeeper II EST, doctor who for the win
@Timekeeper II EST, I tried getting into it, but it's just not my cup of tea. Ha! Get it? Cuz he's British and...no?...ok...( ._.)
@Peeta Griffin, of course it is great. Freaky, ends with feels, and introduces us to Captain Jack Harkness. How could it be anything other than great?
@thecorpsebride, because that child thing is demented for the entire episode
@Peeta Griffin, Jaime isn't demented. He is just lost. Looking for his mummy and scared of the bombs.
@thecorpsebride, but we don't know that until the end. For the whole thing you're freaking out about this freaky kid
@Peeta Griffin, that is a good point. It is my 4 year olds favorite episodes. so I have had to watch it dozens of times. I guess I am so used to it that I forgot how freaky it was the first time.
@Timekeeper II EST, I agree.
@Timekeeper II EST, that episode was terrifying until the end. Tbh, when I was little I watched a Christopher Eckleston episode where Slitheen took over the Houses of Parliament and started farting in leather chairs.
@Fantabulous Toaster, and I had nightmares.I loled so hard when I watched it again.
@Timekeeper II EST, that episode was pure nightmare fuel. Then again, it introduced Jack... and let's be honest, there's a reason they rewrote the ending and let him live!
@Timekeeper II EST, I tried to watch doctor who I couldn't take it
@Timekeeper II EST, one of the creepiest episodes.
@Timekeeper II EST, I LITERALLY just watched that episode for the first time tonight! I'm loving Doctor Who so far.
@Timekeeper II EST, SPOILERS!!...-future person in future episodes...
And that's why David Tennant is better than Matt Smith
@TheSonicDeerstalker, I started watching while Matt was the doctor and now he will always be my favorite
@TheSonicDeerstalker, This made me whimper and I have no idea why. They're all fanTAStic!
@TheSonicDeerstalker, yes! Thank you!
@TheSonicDeerstalker, fantastic and allons-y....these two are the best.
@victoriavanclover, I agree
For those of you who couldn't figure it out, top right, top left, bottom right, bottom left.
Like manga, for some reason
@IrrelevantSax, well your wrong, it's top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right
Fun fact: Peter Capaldi also says this in an episode.
@Pheobo, busive relationship then after this weeks episode, "Mummy on the Orient Express." I had to pause that episode because I started laughing too hard when he said that. "Hello, I'm the doctor and I'll be your victim tonight. Are you my mummy?"
I don't remember this episode. Anyone care to tell me?
@AnarchyWolf, season 4 ep 6, the poison sky.
@AnarchyWolf, were you first meet jack harkness
@troll9005, of you're talking about the episode with the gas mask people, then yes. But if you're talking about the episode in the picture, it's not where the meet the captain first.
*tilts wine glass* true story.
There was a pause in that scene that remember
I posted something like this. Without the fun fact... Whoops. Anyway, obligation to comment complete.
One of my favorite episodes of doctor who, next to the weeping angels
