Pokemon can release themselves if they want to badly enough. (I still panicked reading this pic) on Missing No. (Upvotes: 47)
@Oujosh29, to all those who keep saying "why not just become a citizen"; my wife is in the daca program and we've been tring to get her residency since the moment she was able to join the program. It is fvkin difficult to do it legally, and it is damn near impossible to do if you where brought illegally. Even with marriage to a U.S. citizen, I always thought if they got married to a citizen they where home free, but even thats a bunch o bull. I have to prove without a shadow of a doubt that it would cause me severe financial hardship to loose her, if I cant they can punish her by deporting her to a country shes never known for up to 10 years. 10 fvckin years! To a country where she doesnt know the language, history, or have any family. Banished because of something her parents did when she was 3. Fvcking 3! So when I hear people say why dont she just become a citizen, you might as well ask well why dont you just become a billionaire! on Funny Pics (Upvotes: 16)

@Oujosh29, I am a conservative, and whatever her parents did, the consequences should be completely on them, they knew what they were doing. Yes of course there needs to be boundaries and limits to immigration in order to maintain stability. However, there is a basic principle that no one should be punished for the sins of their fathers. If your main issue is that a law is being broken, then do what we do with anyone else who breaks a law, fine them! $1000, $5000, I guarantee you they would pay it gladly. And not for citizenship, just for residency, and they have to go through the legal system for citizenship just like everyone else. There are almost 1 mil daca recipients; 1 mil x $1000 is 1 Billion $. Use it to build ur dam wall, I dont care theres already a wall there!Unlawful prescence is a misdemeanor, which brings to another principle; the punishment should fit the crime. You don't ruin somebody's life over a misdemeanor. on Funny Pics (Upvotes: 7)
@Oujosh29, That's exactly how I used to think, I didnt know or even cared about any of these laws because honestly it had nothing to do with me. I'm only trying to be logical - no guilt trips. These Daca people have tried to do things legally, just by the mere fact they gave all their information up to the government. Its people who are making, contributing, seeking acceptance from the only country theyve ever known. They know the national anthem, not Mexicos imno nacional. And the only mexican history they know is that we bravely defended the alamo from them and that we kicked their ass and got Texas. They are american. And if there is some eros in my logic that is because my country is alienating the woman that I love. Because I see the the people making our laws push their own agendas meanwhile banishing the mother of my unborn child to a place she knows nothing of. Such is my desperation that im here venting on a meme app in some obscure chat to ears that will never listen. on Funny Pics (Upvotes: 5)
